Hi! I’m Sarah, and I’m an actor originally from Palo Alto, CA. I recently graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Theatre, Business, and Musical Theatre.
In school I grew passionate about new work, participating in readings with the American Music Theatre Project (AMTP) including Adam Gwon and Michele Lowe’s THE PROXY MARRIAGE (pictured right) and Jonathan Larson grant recipients Erato Kremmyda and Maggie-Kate Coleman's MARIE IN TOMORROWLAND.
Since graduation, I have worked at The Marriott in Pinkalicious, Shrek, and Holiday Inn. I'm thrilled to return this Spring in Footloose as the Ariel standby, as well as the Urleen/Bickle u/s and female ensemble swing.
This Fall, I am thrilled to join Metropolis's cast of Anything Goes as Reno Sweeney.
When I’m not performing, I love being outdoors, watching and re-watching Westworld, and hunting for the perfect gin and tonic.

Reviews
Shrek the musical
“Fourteen of Chicago’s most likably talented young triple threats create the magic in this ensemble-driven production, often playing many different roles...The brilliant, multitalented ensemble also includes…Sarah Ohlson.” - Highly Recommended, Chicago Theatre Review, Colin Douglas.
“Leave it to Marriott Theatre and their staff to bring a huge musical to their in-the-round- stage with just the right touch…The ensemble is delightful, changing costumes and characters in seconds… They are terrific!” 5 out of 5 Stars, Alan Bresloff, Around the Town Chicago

Holiday inn
“[A] stellar 16-member ensemble.” - Recommended, Kerry Reid, Chicago Tribune
“The show’s ensemble of dancer-singers is exceptionally skillful and attractive…You could not wish for a more ideal alternative to the familiar “holiday show lineup.” - Highly Recommended, Hedy Weiss, WTTW
