Hi, my name is
A little about me.
I am a Silicon Valley transplant and graduate of Northwestern University, where I studied business, theatre, and music. After supporting myself professionally as a musical theatre actor in my first year out of school, I changed gears, reshaping my career goals to translate my passion for music into a more traditional work environment.
I’ve spent the last 2 years gaining vital marketing, communications, and project management experience. With that under my belt, I'm now looking for opportunities that allow me to combine that business skillset with my passion for all things audio (podcasts, music, podcasts about music).
My entertainment background has made me deeply creative, collaborative, and aware of how audiences interact with content and events. My work in marketing and business communications have given me the tools to build strong relationships with clients, manage projects & deliverables, and drive operational excellence.
Line of Work.
How the do people decide what they want to do? Is it driven by money, passion, luck, or something less glamorous?
From that question, Line of Work was born. Over the course of 2020, I interviewed notable professionals from many different industries. Together, we did a deep dive into their professional journeys, the ins and outs of their fields, and what gets them excited to go to work every single day.
Work doesn’t have to be your passion. In fact, there are so many things to get excited about in life that have nothing to do with our careers. But we do spend the majority of our waking hours engaged with work. So, I developed this miniseries to learn from people who've found longevity and satisfaction in their professions - and to explore just how many paths there are to finding fulfillment in what you do for a living.
